In college, my roommate and her boyfriend were one of the only couples that I was close to, so for a design project for school, I designed a fake wedding invitation for them.
Years later, they actually DID get married, and I got to make their actual invitations! It was an honor being a part of their special day in this way, and I am so happy for them! Two years later, they are living happily together in their first home with a new baby. I loved getting to revisit this project and see how far they've come as a couple, and how far I've come as a designer!
