This project is a brand that I created called Upthrift, which is an online thrift store that uses art from working artists to give new life to secondhand clothes. The fast fashion industry is a huge cause for environmental strain, but I believe that art doesn't have to hurt the planet, and Upthrift is the solution to this.
I created compostable packaging, water-activated packing tape, clothing tags, a website, and an Instagram profile as collateral for this brand.
I'd also like to extend a thanks to Rhiannan Sibbald (@rhiannansibbald on Instagram) and Colin Ney (@collinneydesign on Instagram) for allowing me to use their artwork on the clothing for this project.
