For this project, I attempted to reimagine the United States currency. Instead of American presidents and founding fathers, I decided to base my currency on cryptids with claimed sightings in America, such as Bigfoot, Mothman, and El Chupacabra. Each bill contains an image of each cryptid and their surroundings as well as their name and the place of their first documented sighting. I made the decision to orient each paper bill vertically, similarly to some other countries' currency. Each bill has a specific color so that one is easily able to distinguish its worth. I also digitally illustrated the creatures and their surroundings on the front and back of each bill.
