I am so happy that I got the opportunity to create this logo for my friend Cristina. She is a printmaker and illustrator, and she needed a personal logo to reflect both of her passions. She wanted something to marry her digital work to her printmaking work, and I created a logo for her that looks clean and professional while still referencing her traditional practices. I used her initials to create a symbol and I kept the vibrant red she used in her last logo. The textured edges and organic lines mimic the cuts made in wood or linoleum in traditional relief printmaking. Take a look at my process below as well as the final product and a few mock-ups I did to show her how her logo could look in use:
